Color (continued)

The colors of the spectrum have also been arranged into a wheel. The conventional color wheel consists of the primary, secondary, and tertiary colors. There are three primary colors—red, yellow, and blue. Mixing two primary colors will result in a secondary color—orange, green, or purple. Combining one primary and one secondary color creates tertiary colors— yellow-orange, red-orange, red-violet, blue-violet, blue-green, and yellow-green.
