Don Quixote and Sancho Panza by Pablo Picasso

The art of drawing requires the application of either a liquid or dry material on a flat surface. As seen in this drawing of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza by Pablo Picasso (this drawing was based on a book written by Cervantes in the early 1900s), lines can be manipulated to create an image. Here we see zigzags, straight lines, and circular lines.

One method of generating a drawing is the use of hatch marks, as seen in the image below.
