Unit Objectives

After you have completed this unit, you will be able to:

1. Provide, obtain, and present information through speaking, listening, and writing about places and activities around town and school while incorporating:
   • -er and -ir verbs
   • irregular verbs
   • time
   • ar verbs
   • proper use of al  and a la
   • - interrogatives
2. Develop a detailed schedule of events in Spanish for an event in your area for a pen pal in Ecuador.
3. Contrast non-verbal behavior based on Hora Latina.
4. Listen to and recite Un Trabalenguas.
5. Use numbers orally in simple math equations.
6. Compare use of contractions (al and a la)
