Other Vocabulary

In order to talk about out houses, we might want to say other things about them. You might want to talk about "upstairs" or "downstairs."

• 二かい (the second floor: かい is a counter for the floors.)

Writing Practice
Talk about going up or down the stairs. If you want to say that something is “upstairs” or “downstairs,” you could simply say, 二かいに　あります or 一かいに　あります. Say which floor these rooms are.
