Recall our dog example.  Earlier we stated that “Dogs have tails” can be written as the conditional statement “if an animal is a dog, then it has a tail” is true, but
it’s converse “if an animal has a tail, then it is a dog” is false.  One way that we can keep logic statements straight is by using a truth table.
