Reasoning in Geometry: Introduction

It is the job of a detective to look for clues and draw conclusions.  You may have heard that detectives use reasoning to complete this task, but did you know that there are different types of reasoning?  In this lesson, you will learn about two kinds of reasoning: inductive and deductive.  You will also learn how these types of reasoning are used to analyze statements and determine whether they are true or false.  Perhaps one day you’ll use the skills you learn to solve a mystery!
