Graphing a Circle Centered at the Origin

Suppose we want to graph the circle x2 + y2 = 4.

The first step is to find the center which in this case is (0, 0) or the origin. The next step is to find the radius.

r2 = 4
r = 2

The radius is equal to 2 units. We can now graph the circle.
