Now, you know some food and what you like. Below are ways to describe how food tastes. See if you can figure out what the speaker is saying before you click on the Spanish to reveal the English meaning.

6. La paella es sabrosa.	The paella is tasty.
7. El pollo es tierno.	The chicken is tender.
8. La sandía es fresca.	The water-melon is fresh.

Notice when you describe food you are using adjectives. Also, keep in mind that when you describe food the noun, verb, and adjective need to agree. Observe in sentences 6 and 8 the agreement of the feminine adjective, and in sentence 2, the changes from singular to plural.
