In order to change a masculine adjective that ends in -o to the feminine form, you simply change the -o to an -a. Observa:

alto

alta

bajo

baja

tonto

tonta

rubio

rubia

moreno

morena

pelirrojo

pelirroja

gordo

gorda

delgado

delgada

pequeño

pequeña

It is not difficult. It is simply something we have to remember in Spanish. Now, sometimes the adjectives do not end in -o. In many cases, this means there is no separate feminine form.

débil

débil

grande

grande

inteligente

inteligente
