Prepare for your Semester Exam
Now that you have made it through the first semester of Spanish 1, you will want to spend some time in preparation for your semester exam.
Some suggestions for you to especially go back and do are:
- go back through each units vocabulary flashcards and vocabulary pages
- review all verb forms you have learned (estar, ir, ser, tener, regular -ar, -er, -ir verbs)
- review hay
- review rules about making nouns and adjectives plural
- review rules about masculine and feminine, singular and plural adjectives and nouns
- review rules about placement of adjectives
- review all cultural information contained in the five units (Mexico, Spain, Ecuador, Argentina, Costa Rica)
- review how to tell time
- review about giving the date and day
- review weather expressions and related vocabulary
- be in communication with your teacher about any of the elements of the course you have not understood well
