¿Cuál es la fecha de tu cumpleaños?

"Mi cumpleaños es el 26 de mayo."

Most of us like to talk about when special dates are. One special date that everyone loves to see come around is their cumpleaños, or birthday.

Just as we ask ¿cuál es la fecha...? to ask the date, if we want to know someone's birthday, we ask:

¿Cuál es la fecha de tu cumpleaños?

You respond to this question much like you respond giving the date. The exception is that when you respond, you will want to say "Mi cumpleaños es el...." (My birthday is...).
