Key Concept Walk and Drive (Using します)

します(to do)is a convenient verb. With a different noun as a direct object, it means many different things.

To take a walk さんぽを します。(散歩を します。)

To go for a ride ドライブを します。

To play tennis テニスを します。

To have a party パーテイを します。

To have a part-time job アルバイトを します。

To have a date デートをします。

To study べんきょうをします。(勉強を します。)

To work しごとを します。(仕事を します。)

To do homework しゅくだいをします。(宿題をします。)

To clean そうじをします。(掃除をします。)

To wash clothes せんたくをします。(洗濯をします。)
