Quadrilaterals and Polygons: Squares, Rectangles and Rhombi

Perimeter

To find the perimeter of any of the three special parallelograms, we simply add the four side lengths.  Because each one has specific properties, the formula can be simplified.

Perimeter of a Square = 4s, where s is the length of one side.
Perimeter of a Rectangle = 2L + 2W, where L is the length and W is the width.
Perimeter of a Rhombus = 4s, where s is the length of one side.
