  1. Topic: Internet communication
  2. Audience: Teenagers and people who rely on the internet to communicate for all reasons
  3. Purpose: To persuade and inform
  4. Main question: How has the Internet changed interpersonal communication?
  5. Organizational Structure: Exemplification
  6. Tone: Urgent and convincing
  7. What I want to convey about the topic: The Internet has changed communication for the worse.
  8. Three Focus Questions:
    1. How has the Internet affected letter writing?
    2. How has the Internet affected grammar and usage?
    3. How has the Internet affected relationships?
  9. Three Answers:
    1. Most people have no more letters to save and look back on.
    2. We see deterioration of grammar and usage.
    3. There is less intimacy and honesty in writing.
  10. Thesis:
    The Internet has improved the speed of communication, but it has decreased the quality of messages and relationships by diminishing writing skills, replacing other forms of written communication like letters, and creating a world where people interact face to face less often.
