You just learned about bullying. You may experience pressure from others to ignore bullying or even participate in it. This is just one example of how you may be pressured to do something you don't want to do.

Many times we make decisions with other people.  We collaborate.  Sometimes we make those decisions because of the influence of others.  We want to please others so we might do what they want without thinking the decision through.

Recognizing the pressure you will encounter and how to use refusal techniques is another important life skill. Refusal skills will help you maintain emotional and phsyical well-being by reducing stress, maintaining your values, and help keep you safe.
