Pre Labs Overview
Overview
The purpose of the Workspace and Tools Pre Labs is to introduce you to the Adobe Photoshop interface. Photoshop is a complex program with many features and functions; therefore, the pre labs are designed to help you familiarize yourself with the basic workspace layout and the tools. The Workspace Pre Lab covers the organization of panels within Photoshop, whereas the Tools Pre Lab explains each of the tools contained in the toolbar which allow for image manipulation.
Objectives
Upon completion of the Pre Labs, students will:
- Learn the basic layout and organization of the Adobe Photoshop Essentials workspace
- Learn the names and functions of the tools within the Adobe Photoshop tools panel as well as their location within the panel
Instructions for Completing the Pre Labs
- Access the Workspace and Tools Pre Labs by clicking the Pre Lab - Workspace and Tools links in the navigation menu.
- Use your mouse to peruse the workspace and tools environments and click highlighted areas to learn more.
