Elements of an Experiment Practice

Practice identifying the independent and dependent variables in these experiments. 

Two groups of rats are set to run a maze. The time that it takes for each rat to reach the end is recorded. One group of rats is deprived of food for 24 hours before being put in the maze. The other group is fed thirty minutes before trying the maze. All other conditions for the two groups are the same.
