Foreword

This 1342.12 Companion provides information to assist teachers, administrators, and related service

providers when planning for and providing special education and related services to eligible students

with disabilities. The information in this Companion is aligned with the Individuals with Disabilities

Education Act (IDEA), dated November 19, 2004, and the
