In the DoDEA Virtual High School, teachers use a variety of online learning tools to deliver/ facilitate instruction to students. The items below highlight the most commonly used online learning tools in the DVHS. Secure and private web conferencing tool for online meetings and synchronous instruction- Allows for video, audio and text chat

Virtual classroom- Location of our DVHS courses

Secure Instant Messaging System- Allows for group chats, translations and spell checking
- Includes Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Includes free home download of the Professional version of the suite
Teachers can access their grade book and other features online- Parents can view student grades
Collection of graphic design, video editing, and web development tools- The full suite is available for curriculum development
- Download available for using at home
Create e-learning courses, quizzes, and interactive content- Tools work together seamlessly
Tool for creating and managing exams that can be published directly to Blackboard- Exams are created offline and uploaded to an LMS
Student Information System- Web-based school data management
Contains copies of all DVHS purchased images- Easy to use tool for searching for images using keywords
