Section Two - Part E
We use " notre" or " nos" to say ours. We use " votre," or " vos" to say your (plural or formal singular).
Remember that you determine the gender and number of these possessive adjectives based on the noun they describe, not on the person who has possession of the object. Now, tell your French teacher that these things belong to him or her, saying these are "your" family members.
Annie et Pierre ont une grand-mère. Leur grand-mère s'appelle Sophie. Paul et Jean font leurs devoirs. We use leur to say "their" when the item that follows is singular and we use leurs when the item that follows is plural. With that in mind, say that these items are "theirs" now.
Practice avec le vocabulaire ici. Practice the possessive adjectives in this activity.
When you have finished composing a total of 9 sentences. That is the writing part of this assignment. This assignment is worth 8 points. Record your sentences for your teacher. This is the oral part. This assignment is worth 8 points. You are now ready for the Section Quiz. When you are done, go on to Section Three. |
