We learned the verb "dire" in Section Two. Do you remember those forms? There are two other verbs which are very similar to "dire". Lire and écrire change in very similar ways, with a few exceptions. Read the following short paragraph and see if you can complete the forms of "lire" in the chart that follows.

J'aime lire. Je lis des livres et je lis des romans. J'aime les bandes dessinées aussi. Je lis tous les jours à l'école et je lis aussi quand je suis chez moi. Je peux imaginer beaucoup quand je lis. Ma mère lit aussi. Elle lit des livres assez intéressants et mon père lit le journal tous les jours.

Mes soeurs aiment lire aussi. Elles lisent des romans aussi et elles aiment lire la poésie aussi. Nous lisons beaucoup. Lisez-vous beaucoup? Aimez-vous lire?
