Life Skill: Setting Goals
Another life skill that is important for managing stress is Setting Goals. Setting goals also helps with decision making. Once you make a decision, setting goals gives you a target reach and the steps needed to achieve it. The decisions you make along the way will effect the outcome or goal. The idea is to focus on the future outcome.
There are two types of goals, short-term or long-term goals.
- Long-term goals can take months or years to achieve.
- Short-term goals are ones that can be achieved quickly. They may also the be steps you need to reach a long-term goal.
