Comparing Logarithmic and Exponential Functions: Introduction
Exponential and logarithmic functions are very important, not only in math but other disciplines as well. Exponential functions are often used to calculate interest and value of investments. Logarithmic functions are often used in measurement scales such as the pH scale, the decibel scale, and the Richter scale. In this section we are going to start discovering the differences between logarithmic and exponential functions.
