Introduction: The Nervous and Hormonal Systems
Everything that is psychological is simultaneously biological. All of the thoughts, emotions and desires you experience result from biological processes in your body. Many students new to the study of psychology are surprised by the inclusion of so much human anatomy and physiology in this course. In order to describe, predict, and explain human behavior, we need to consider carefully the importance of biology.
