Basic Elements of Geometry: Introduction

In order to build a foundation of knowledge for geometry, you will need to learn about some of the basic tools and elements used in the course.  Where have you seen examples of points in the world around you?  What about lines?  You may already be familiar with some of the terms that we’ll use, but in this section, you will learn about their precise definitions.
