Rehearse
Prior to presenting the speech, you’ll want to rehearse it several times. This will help you to become familiar with the speech so you don’t have to read the whole thing. Be careful of memorizing the eulogy and leaving behind the text of the speech. You should retain a copy of the speech during the presentation. This way, you will have a guide if you forget parts.
