Vocabulary: Introduction

In this module, you will continue to expand your knowledge of Latin and Greek root words. Some of these words may be in the same category as those introduced in the previous module, academic vocabulary. Others will connect to the specific terms you may need to know to understand this course’s anchor texts.

For instance, one of the anchor texts you will read in this course is from the genre of ancient Greek drama. There may be terms specific to both the genre of Greek literature as well as drama that you will need to understand as you read. In this section, you will explore those terms further.
