Weather Maps
A weather forecast map can be used to predict the weather. It is based on knowledge of how air pressure varies over an area, and the location of various air masses. This image is an example of a weather map for the United States. Since the weather is always changing, weather maps can look different for the same area on a day-to-day basis.
