Student Leadership
Students act as leaders in the classroom by demonstrating competency in using and
applying tools to process, organize, and analyze information. They work collaboratively
with peers and teachers to support and empower others to use the tools successfully.
Three Roles of a Student Leader

Coach/Facilitator
•
Students use digital media and environments to
communicate and work collaboratively, including
at a distance, to support individual learning and
contribute to the learning of others

Students understand human, cultural, and societal
issues related to technology and social interactions
and practice legal and ethical behavior
Role as Change
Agent
•
Students help teachers and peers to use
technology in classrooms, supporting effective
technology integration school-wide.
•
Students support peers through academic tutoring,
mentoring, and participation in school activities and
clubs.
