Review Verbs (Daily Routines)
Do you still remember important verbs we learned? Many of these verbs are those we use to talk about things we do in our daily routine - I get up, I take a shower, I brush my teeth, etc., as you will see in the list below. Check to see what each verb means. Then, click to see the correct answer.
おきます(起きます) | to wake up/to get up |
ねます。(寝ます) | to go to bed, to lie down |
たのしみます(楽しみます) | to enjoy oneself, to have fun |
すわります(座ります) | to seat oneself (to sit down) |
シャワーを あびます(シャワを 浴びます) | to take a shower |
かおを あらいます(かおを 洗います) | to wash the face |
ブラシで かみを とかします(ブラシで 髪を とかします) | to brush one's hair |
くしで かみを とかします(櫛で 髪を とかします。) | to comb one's hair |
ふくを ぬぎます(服を 脱ぎます) | to get undressed |
ふくを きます(服を 着ます) | to get dressed |
おふろに はいります(お風呂に 入ります) | to “enter” the bath/to take a bath |
おけしょうを します (御化粧を します) | to put make-up on oneself |
じゅんびします(準備します) | to prepare oneself (to get ready) |
はを みがきます(葉を磨きます) | to brush teeth |
くつをはきます(靴を履きます) | to put on shoes (socks, pants etc. on lower part of body) |
