Creating a Works Cited Page using the MLA Handbook

You will need to have access to an MLA Handbook to complete your Work Cited page. It is not important to memorize the order and punctuation of each type of entry; instead you should learn how to use the Handbook, then you can use any style manual you may be called upon to use in the future.

You can purchase an MLA Handbook at any local bookstore or you can use an online version.

After you have gathered your evidence and filled out your source cards, the next step in the ATTRIBUTION (or documentation) process is to create a Works Cited page.
