Earlier in this unit you learned about global warming from an enhanced greenhouse effect. One of the consequences of global warming may be rising sea levels as the oceans undergo thermal expansion and as continental ice sheets melt and contribute water to the oceans.
What do you think the consequences of higher sea levels might be? Would it be desirable to have the oceans move farther over the edges of the continents, or would it be mostly harmful?
