Lobbyists
Lobbying is a way to try and influence members of Congress. Federal law establishes criteria for determining whether an organization is a lobbyist and requiring them to register with the Secretary of the U.S. Senate. Lobbyists must file periodic reports regarding each of their clients and how much they are paid by them.
