The Bill of Rights in the News Today

Review national media websites for articles or newscasts that shed light on a current issue which presents a challenge to this balance between free speech and due process and the other rights and responsibilities of the government.

Write a short summary of the article and explain why this particular issue is an example of how the exercise of free speech continues to create tension between state or federal governments today. Be sure to include the URL for your source in your post.

Respond to at least two other classmates and evaluate how their examples of challenge our understanding of freedom of expression and how the positions expressed by the Supreme Court in Schenck v US and Texas v. Johnson give us insight into these new challenges.
