Scientific Notation
Exponential notation is very similar to scientific notation. The main difference between exponential notation and scientific notation is that scientific notation has an additional rule: the value of the digit in front of the "power of 10" must be between 0 and 10. This makes it easier to express the number of significant digits in the value (you’ll learn about significant digits in later sections of this unit).
In AP Physics 1 you will be using scientific notation quite a bit. Select the play button to begin the tutorial, and then use the navigation buttons to pause/stop, continue, or reset the tutorial. View the presentation as often as you would like, and take notes as you follow along. Be sure to set your volume at a reasonable level before you begin.
