Inscribed Angles
An inscribed angle has a vertex on a circle and sides that contain chords of the circle. As a reminder, a chord is a segment that has its endpoints on a circle. An intercepted arc has endpoints on the sides of an inscribed angle and lies in the interior of the inscribed angle.
An intercepted arc is the part of a circle that lies between two lines that intersect it. These lines are often the two rays of a circle, as shown in the figure above.
