Phases of Training

Three gears in motionMultiple training modules will be provided addressing the revised DoDEA High School Graduation Requirements and Policy.  The training modules will be developed as part of DoDEA’s plan for continuous and responsive professional development for school counselors.  The phases of training currently available are described below.

School Administrator Module

This module is designed specifically for the school administrator who is responsible for implementation of the revised high school graduation policy. The content of this module includes an overview of the unique responsibilities of the school administrator and the policy changes which require his/her follow-up and review with school personnel. Additional modules will be added based upon feedback provided from administrators and needed clarification of DoDEA secondary school policy.

Phase I:  Policy Overview Module

This training is designed to provide an overview of the revised policy, highlighting the significant changes to secondary school policies, and points of clarification.
