Welcome to the DoDEA School Counseling training website. The purpose of this training is to provide specific information and training for DoDEA school counselors.

Learner Outcomes

During this training, DoDEA school counselors will:

• Review the shift in the educational landscape as it relates to college and career readiness
• Identify how ASCA National Standards align with national college and career readiness goals
• Appraise leadership, advocacy, collaboration, and systemic change as central components of comprehensive school counseling programs
• Examine and apply practices within the Foundation component of the ASCA National Model
