Academic Departments

Academic department committees are composed of teacher members led by an elected Department Chair. Membership is determined at the beginning of the year and is dependent upon a teacher’s course schedule. Department meetings are scheduled on a monthly basis.

School Improvement Leadership Team (SILT)

The Team, dedicated to the CSI Process at DVHS, is composed of at least one CSI-Co Chair to represent each hub, the Department Chairs, our ETs, and our Administration. It is scheduled to meet each month, though, at times, additional meetings may be called.

Data Committee

The Data Committee, committed to the ORID process, is composed of members who volunteer to serve on a yearly basis. The Data Committee is led by a Chair, at least one Co Chair for each hub, and an administrator serving in an informal position. The Data Committee is scheduled to meet each month, though, at times, additional meetings may be called.

Standards Committees

The Standards Committees were put in place SY' 2014-15 and are composed of membership which crosses administration, departments, and hubs. The Standards Committees were formed to concentrate on the CSI process and writing the standards narratives for the Standards Assessment Review. The Standards Committees are scheduled to meet ad hoc in SY' 2014-15. Beginning SY' 2015-16 the Standards Committees will meet on a quarterly basis.
