Journal: Para Empezar

For each unit this semester, you will be required to complete at least two (2) journal entries. These entries should be reflection pieces on your improvement in and status with the language, cultural aspects, and other topics. The expectation is for you to make a journal entry at each prompt in the unit. Please start off the journal by listing the title of the prompt followed by the journal entry. The journal document will be collected in Unit 3 for a non-graded progress check and collected and graded at the end of the semester. At that time the entire journal will be worth 50 points.  Take a look at the example.

In your journal, first describe why you are taking this Spanish course and how you might use Spanish in your area.  Then, give your teacher an idea of what you want to learn in this course and what activities you enjoy.

There will be many Journal Assignments in this course.  Every discussion in this course will be graded according to the journal rubric.
