We learn lots of songs when we are children to help us learn to do a variety of things. Here is a song that little children sing when learning the name of animals. It is a catchy one and you will enjoy learning it. Click here to hear the song.

Practice with verbs
Let's spend a little more time practicing the new verbs. Look at each present tense verb. Change the verb to the present progressive form of the verb (Te form of Verb + imasu). Click on the regular verb to see the new form.

First, we must learn how to make TEform of verb.

Regular I Verb (う-Verb)

As this song describes, if the verb ends withう、つ、る, TE form will end withって, and the rest of Regular I verb will follow these patterns.

To drink  のみます（のむ） のんで

To fly  とびます（とぶ） とんで

To die  しにます（しぬ） しんで
