Special Situations and Safety: Introduction

You are on a school field trip and one of your classmates falls to the ground and starts having convulsions. Do you know what to do? What if your little sister has broken the locks off the cupboard under the sink and consumed some of the cleaning solvents? What should you do in that case? The children on the block have found a wasp's nest, and one of them moved it and startled the wasps. Your little brother is red faced, covered with stings and wheezing badly? What do you do?
In this section, we will examine some special situations you may come across. We will also look at some ways to stay safe in your home and community.
