Anniversaire is a "false friend"
- a word that looks like it would be a cognate, but actually means something
different. There are actually three ways to ask this question:
Quelle est la date de ton anniversaire?
C'est quand ton anniversaire?
Quand est-ce que c'est ton anniversaire?
The last two options are more common and more familiar.

Using the cues given below,
ask each person when their birthday is (you can use any of the three
options)
answer each one as if you were that person.
Follow the model:
1. Robert, 12/2
Réponse Robert, c'est quand ton anniversaire? C'est le 12 février
Cédric,
quand est-ce que c'est ton anniversaire? C'est le
2 août.
Go
to Discussion 3c and ask your teacher and three of your classmates when
their birthday is. Respond to at least three of your classmates' questions.
This assignment is worth 5 points.
