Welcome to Unit 2, Le jour et la date!

You did a great job with Unit 1! Are you ready to move on? If you have any questions or are not sure you understood something in Unit 1, this is the time to ask your teacher about it. This unit, like all the units to come, will build off of the previous one. Ask yourself: Did I understand everything and am I ready to use it to communicate in French? If you can honestly answer "Yes!" to that question, you're ready to move on!

This unit covers the following:

  • talking about days of the week and months
  • expressing dates
  • expressing likes and dislikes
  • using subject pronouns
  • numbers from 1 - 31
  • cultural aspects

Doing the exercises

You should have a notebook especially for this class to take notes and do your written exercises. Follow this sequence:

  1. Write down the exercise as you see it.
