Unit Warm-Up

Think about your favorite musical instrument. How do you think it produces a sound? You learned earlier in the course that vibration is the source for all sound. It only makes sense that for a musical instrument to produce a sound, there must first be a vibration. What do you think creates the vibration on your favorite instrument? Do you think this is the case for all musical instruments?
