Algebra 1: Solving Systems : Introduction
In the real world of finance, business, medicine, etc., many different quantities are compared to each other. Many times this involves looking at two different equations or inequalities and coming up with a solution that satisfies both. Some examples of this might include:
There are countless other examples, but you get the idea of how two items must be balanced against each other to come up with a common solution. This unit will cover a number of ways how algebra can help solve these problems. Unit 6 includes:
Grades: Each graded item is worth a certain number of points. The points you earn are divided by the total possible points, and then converted to a percentage. Grade (%) = Points Earned ÷ Points Possible In Unit 6, these are the graded items and the points possible for each.
Now it’s time to begin the first lesson in Unit 6. | ||||||||||||||||||||
