Introduction to Cascading Style Sheets

intro

CSS, or Cascading Style Sheets, is a style sheet language that web designers use to style the look of their web pages. Web designers use CSS to format the look of text and graphics as well as their page alignment in an effort to create an aesthetically-pleasing web page. CSS is not only used to format web pages, but it is also used to make the web design (and redesign) process more efficient. Using CSS saves web designers time and helps to ensure that all the web pages of a web site have a consistent appearance.

In this module you will learn the basics of Cascading Style Sheets and better understand how CSS is used in combination with HTML to make attractive web pages.
