The websites below, designed by instructional designers serving in the DoDEA Virtual High School, are frequently used by staff, faculty, and students throughout the School Year to access specific information ranging from Continuous School Improvement (CSI), teaching and learning best practices, online instructional strategies, and Schoology LMS.
DVHS CSI ePortfolio
DVHS CSI ePortfolio Website contains information about our Continuous School Improvement plan. Here, you will find specific information about Goal 1 and Goal 2 and specific strategies that support each goal. In addition, you will access our CSI Strategies eBook and student/teacher artifacts demonstrating mastery of our goals.
DVHS New Teacher Training Center
DVHS Teacher Training Center is for new teachers to the DoDEA Virtual High School. You will find information about the following: an overview of the DoDEA Virtual High School, instructional practices for teaching online, communication and interaction for learning, and digital media copyright policies. This site also contains video step-by-step instructions for using the tools in Schoology LMS.
DVHS Student Orientation
Student Orientation is designed to prepare students for success in their DVHS online course(s). It is available here so that teachers will see what students are expected to know and be able to do at the conclusion of the Student Orientation. The topics in the Student Orientation include:

Schoology (DoDEA) e-Learning Portal
The DoDEA e-Learning Portal contains video simulations and step-by-step tutorials for DoDEA educators to learn how to use Schoology LMS. In the DoDEA e-Learning Portal, you will find step-by-step training tutorials, on-demand videos, and live training events. The DoDEA e-Learning Portal also allows educators to register for a Schoology account and to request courses and groups in Schoology.
Spark Instant Messaging (IM)
Spark IM Website includes the Spark Quick Guide Reference and the instructions for downloading and installing Spark on your home computer. It is available in all courses under the Course Information area in Schoology.
